		For Practitioners by Practitioners The Enterprise Architecture Center of Excellence (EACOE) is the independent industry-wide practitioner-based source for the purpose of advancing the implementation and understanding of Enterprise Architecture: To help business and information technology teams understand Enterprise Architecture; To help teams implement Enterprise Architectures, and To certify Enterprise Architects with consistent measures of success. To this end, the mission of EACOE is to advance the professionalism, practitioning, and the body of knowledge related to Enterprise Architecture, and to provide its members with a professional exchange forum of knowledge and experience in the use, implementation, and advancement of Enterprise Architecture. The EACOE provides the Enterprise Architect with a full complement of foundational skills and tools for success.

Enterprise Architecture Defined from an information and technology perspective Enterprise Architecture is explicitly describing an organization through a set of independent, non-redundant artifacts, defining how these artifacts interrelate with each other, and developing a set of prioritized, aligned initiatives and road maps to understand the organization, communicate this understanding to stakeholders, and move the organization forward to its desired state. Enterprise Architecture Defined from a business perspective Enterprise Architecture illuminates how an organization and all of its members can achieve its objectives, through the creation of a series of engineered models and project initiatives, that can be easily understood by all of the people associated with the organization.
Enterprise Architecture and Strategic Planning This is the age of the enterprise architect. EACOE is the leading practitioner-based association for enterprise architects. Our mission is to be the definitive source for enterprise architecture and strategic planning. Our enterprise architect training course can help make you trail-blazers leading the way for both business and IT. We aim at providing a universal standard and competence forum for enterprise architecture and information systems architecture. Our goal is to improve and elevate the practice of enterprise architecture, defined in the following pages, through rigorous training and advancement of professionals.
