Michael DeChambeau
Vice President
Fidelity Investments

Michael DeChambeau is a seasoned executive with a passion for solving challenging business problems.  He has the ability to think strategically and execute rapidly in a dynamic business environment.  He is technically sophisticated, confronts complex issues, rationalizes root-cause, and develops solutions in a disciplined and business savvy manner.  Michael is a natural leader with an established track record of driving complex programs across organizations.

Michael has worked for Fidelity Investments since in 1994 and has been a part of teams that have built and installed several major business solutions some of these being Fidelity’s Retail Touch Tone Express (TTX) telephone trading platform, and  Fidelity’s Defined Benefit Java platform transformation.  Michael has led both centralized and a decentralized IT Architect organizations during his career and has been part of teams responsible for Business Standardization and Rationalization efforts.

Currently Michael is responsible for establishing and leading a Business Architecture group.  His knowledge of the IT development process and IT architecture discipline along with his time spent on the product standardization process provides Michael with a unique business and technology background for the role.

Priory to joining Fidelity Michael worked for General Dynamic, Electric Boat Division, in Newport RI as a software developer.

Michel DeChambeau has a Masters of Science in Information Science from Salve Regina University (1991) and a Bachelors of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Rhode Island (1988).
